My mom left today. It is always a sad day when she leaves. It seems like we wait so long to see her and then the week she is here goes by too quickly. With that said, we had a fun week. Nana was able to see Hannah play in a soccer game for the first time (though I don't think she is too thrilled about soccer) and she was able to be with Casey on "Grandparents Day" at his school. Last year, he had to share his friend Gavin's Nana.
My mom's visit, however, wasn't really intended for us. She flies down to Florida every September for Memere's birthday on the 19th. Memere turned 83 yesterday.
Probably the best day of the week for me was Friday. I signed Georgia out of school early and we all went to the beach. It was a perfect day.
Nana weeks are the best!
