One of the many cool things about Bavaria are the Blumen fields in August. Local gardening clubs plant these fields of sunflowers and gladioli. All you have to do is pull over to the side of the road, drop your coins in the kasse slot (60 Euro cent per stem, via the honor system), and then pick your flowers....
The hardest part is deciding which ones to pick!
