I can't believe I pulled this one off. This was the week of Hannah's knee surgery, so I was trying to get it done in between VNA visits, physical therapists, icing her knee every 30 minutes, CPM machine every 2 hours, and zero sleep for three nights in a row. Who knew knee surgery would be so much work? I was so out of it that I forgot to dowel the bottom cake and the big dice was sinking into it by the time we got to the party. But no one noticed, and it was a fun cake, and I hope I get a chance to do this theme again because it will be even better.
