Georgia was sick on her 9th birthday so we postponed her celebration. It worked out well in the end; both kids survived the virus and lost a few pounds (I'm so pissed that I didn't get it) and then Jamie came to visit with Madi and Lylah, so they got to be here for the birthday soiree.
It's been ages since I made a cake. But just like blogging, I have missed it. I threw away most of my cake decorating supplies when we moved from Hawaii last year, but I managed to make Georgia a pretty cute sea turtle cake:
I even had enough fondant left over to make Lori a little birthday cake, which we ate on Friday night:
Today is Monique's birthday and I am contemplating baking another one. Hmmmm....
